Reiki (pronounced: raay-keee) originally comes from Japan. It’s a form of hands on healing for stress reduction & relaxation that promotes healing. The hands are placed either on or above the body. To describe it, it’s similar to Martial Arts & T’ai Chi in that they are using Ki (life force energy) to do movements & so forth, only here we’re using that Ki energy for healing. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki is governed by the body meaning if you have areas on your body where you don’t have enough Ki, it will put Ki into your body. If you have areas where Ki is blocked, the energy can be pulled out.
